Car Integration Specialist

Speedway Games is an independent studio developing and publishing games only on Roblox. We have over 2.6 billion visits to our games and more than 26+ million monthly active users. Our flagship game is Vehicle Legends, a top driving game on the platform for the last 4+ years, which features officially licensed vehicles. 

We are looking for a Car Integration Specialist to join our team working on our flagship game, Vehicle Legends, which is in the process of converting to officially licensed cars from major automakers. The car integration specialist integrates finished car models into the game.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Integrate finished car 3d models into the game engine: Assign materials & textures, place hinges and wheel points, setup the integrated vehicle models within the game systems, and more to ensure vehicles are complete and look stunning

• Create materials & textures within the game engine

• Gather in-engine & in-game screenshots/videos of integrated cars for feedback by car manufacturers

• Provide feedback to the vehicle art team to ensure vehicles are accurate within the game engine

• Make quick fixes to car models if required, and/or coordinate with the vehicle art team to ensure complex model issues are fixed

• Learn tools & software to accomplish all of the above responsibilities

• Take on other responsibilities as required

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 2+ year(s) of experience as a 3d artist or technical artist, ideally with at least 1 year of experience 3d modeling/working with cars

• Ready to learn new tools, such as Roblox Studio

• Good knowledge of cars

• B2 level of English or higher

Bonus points for:

• Experience integrating assets into a game engine

• Prior work experience with Roblox Studio

• Experience as a technical artist
